Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 15, 2026
Welcome to Moonpath (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
Because Moonpath is designed for parents to use with their children, we have built the App to prioritize safety and minimize data collection.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
To keep your family's experience as private as possible, we do not require you to create an account. Therefore, we do not directly collect, store, or ask for:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Physical addresses
- Passwords
2. Information We Collect Automatically
To make the App function correctly, fix bugs, and understand how our interactive stories are being enjoyed, we automatically collect limited, non-personally identifiable technical information. This may include:
- Device Data: Such as your device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (which are not tied to your identity).
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as which story paths are chosen, time spent in the App, and features utilized.
- Diagnostic Data: Crash logs and performance data to help us identify and fix technical issues.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
We do not process payments or collect your financial information. All subscriptions and in-app purchases are securely processed and managed by your respective app store provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We only receive an anonymous token or receipt from these platforms to confirm whether you have an active subscription and to unlock the appropriate content.
4. Children's Privacy
Moonpath is an application designed to be used by parents and guardians alongside their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or higher age thresholds as defined by local laws, such as PIPEDA in Canada or COPPA in the United States). Because the App does not allow free-form text input and operates via pre-generated selections, there is no mechanism for a child to submit personal information to us. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services (such as analytics or cloud hosting providers) to help operate and improve the App. These third parties are bound by strict data processing agreements and are only permitted to use the limited technical data we provide to perform their specific services for Moonpath.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we collect. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the revised policy within the App and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at: [email protected].
