Request Data Deletion
This page explains how to remove the data Moonpath Kids holds about you or your child. You have two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
Deleting the Moonpath app from your phone or tablet removes all locally-stored data — your story progress, downloaded stories, preferences, and the anonymous device identifier we use to remember you. Reinstalling later starts you fresh with a new identifier.
On iOS: long-press the Moonpath icon → Remove App →
Delete App.
On Android: long-press the Moonpath icon → Uninstall, or
open Settings → Apps → Moonpath → Uninstall.
Option 2 — Email us for assistance
If you'd like us to also remove the anonymous device record from our server, or you need help with anything related to a refund, gift code, or active subscription, email [email protected] . Include any details that might help us identify your device — the approximate install date, the platform (iOS or Android), or a gift-code prefix if you used one.
We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 14 days. You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.
What gets removed
- The anonymous device identifier and any story progress, ending records, ratings, or text answers we have stored against it
- Your push notification token, if any
- Crash and error reports linked to the device, if any
What we may retain
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics (e.g. "X stories were played this month") that can no longer be linked back to you after deletion.
- Payment receipts and transaction records held by our payment processors (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) for the period required by tax law. Subscriptions themselves are managed in the App Store or Play Store and must be cancelled there.
