FAQ
Honest answers.
What parents actually ask before they hand the phone to their kid.
What ages is Moonpath for?
Built for kids 5 to 8. Some 4-year-olds love it because every page is narrated; some 9-year-olds love it because the story branches are real. The reading level sits in the 1st-3rd grade range.
Will my kid see ads?
No. Ever. A kids app shouldn't sell things to kids. Subscription is the whole business model — that's how it stays clean.
Can my kid spend money in the app?
No in-app purchases the kid can make. The only flow that touches money is the subscription itself, and it lives behind a parental gate so a 6-year-old can't tap their way to a charge.
What devices does it work on?
iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet, and the web (app.moonpath.fun — invite-only during soft launch). Same family account works across all of them.
How many kids can use one account?
Up to 4 kid profiles on a single family account. Each kid keeps their own sticker book, streak, and saved stories.
What if they don't like it?
Cancel any time in Settings — one tap, no phone calls. If the trial doesn't land, you won't be charged.
How do you decide which stories are bedtime-safe?
Every story is read, edited, and reviewed by a real person before it ships. Endings are always resolved (no cliffhangers), and the language stays warm — even the spooky ones land soft.
How often do new stories come out?
A new story most weeks during soft launch — pace will grow as we add writers.
What data do you collect?
As little as we can. Story progress lives on the device. We don't sell data, ever. The full plain-English summary is on our privacy page.
